Keep up to date with what's happening at the Seward Memorial Library. http://www.sewardlibrary.org Seward Memorial Library announced the 2008 All Seward Reads Together title during National Library Week. The book chosen is The Echo Maker by Richard Powers. This title is a mystery novel which takes place in Nebraska. A near-fatal accident results in the rare condition of Capgras syndrome, a brain disorder. Discovering the truth of what happened the night of the accident will keep the reader’s interest. The library owns multiple copies, and residents are encouraged to read it. Related programs and activities, as well as group discussions, will be scheduled during the summer. Watch for specific dates and more information in future newsletters. Seward Memorial Library appreciates every donated hour of service given by the volunteers in our community. Books are mended, covered and processed by faithful individuals who give of their time on a regular basis. Volunteers sitting at computers donate many hours. Whether it is shelving books, folding brochures, stuffing envelopes or dusting shelves each task helps lighten the work load of the Seward Memorial Library staff. The staff and library board thank the regular volunteers as well as the many temporary helpers for a job well done!
