The 2008 All Seward Reads Together title is Richard Power’s The Echo Maker. This best-selling novel takes place in Nebraska. After a young man flips his truck in a near-fatal accident, his sister comes to be with him as he recovers from his traumatic head injury. Unfortunately, as he heals it is discovered that he has developed a rare condition known as Capgras syndrome. This brain disorder makes one believe that people are imposters.
